Cancer-diagnosed Sven-Goran Eriksson reveals regret about never managing Liverpool (Video)

Sven-Goran Eriksson, recently diagnosed with terminal cancer, has revealed his life-long support for Liverpool, and his regret that his illustrious coaching career never had him working in the Anfield dugout.

Eriksson did work in England though, as their national team coach between 2001 and 2005, as well as the manager at Manchester City (2007-08) and Leicester City (2010-11).

In March, Anfield will be the venue for a charity match between Liverpool legends and their Ajax counterparts, and the fans of the Merseyside club have called for Eriksson to take charge of their team on that occassion.
